Privacy Policy

We appreciate your trust. This document explains what personal data we process in connection with Argentinian Day, on what legal basis, and what rights you have.

Effective from 1 February 2026

1. Data controller

The controller processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the "GDPR") and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on personal data processing.

2. Data we process

2.1. Newsletter

• e-mail address,
• date of subscription and consent to receive news.

2.2. VIP and Estancia enquiries

• name, surname, company,
• e-mail, phone,
• number of guests, message content.

2.3. Partner enquiries

• company name, contact person, e-mail, phone, area of interest.

2.4. Ticket purchase

• billing details (name, address, ID/VAT, e-mail); payment data is processed exclusively by the payment gateway.

2.5. Website visit

• technical device and browser data, anonymised traffic statistics (see cookies).

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) – ticket delivery, Event-related communication.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) – newsletter, marketing communications, marketing cookies.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – protecting the Event, traffic statistics, handling VIP and partner enquiries.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) – accounting and tax records.

4. Retention period

• Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn, no longer than 5 years from the last e-mail opened.
• VIP / partner enquiries: 2 years from the last contact.
• Billing data: 10 years pursuant to Act No. 235/2004 Coll.
• Cookies: depending on type (see Cookies section), no longer than 12 months.

5. Recipients and processors

Your data may be shared with the following categories of processors:

• hosting and database provider (Supabase / Lovable Cloud),
• newsletter tool,
• payment gateway,
• accounting firm,
• public authorities, where required by law.

Data is not transferred outside the EU.

6. Cookies

Our website uses three categories of cookies:

• Necessary – the site cannot function without them (e.g. remembering your cookie choice). Processed on the basis of legitimate interest.
• Analytics – anonymised traffic statistics. Activated only with your consent.
• Marketing – personalisation of content and advertising. Activated only with your consent.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access and receive a copy of your data,
• rectification of inaccurate data,
• erasure ("right to be forgotten"),
• restriction of processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing based on legitimate interest,
• withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing),
• lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.
